Yes! I strongly agree with this. Since I am sickness benefit it takes me
ages to save up.
My A1200 is at the point of no more expansion without expensive tower plus
expensive
busboard to put more devices in. I was given a P1 MMX 233 a while ago too
which
complicates the issue (e.g. cheap PC CDR vs expensive A1200 external).
Whether I will be
able to get an AmigaOne or not depends *entirely* on the cost of the lowest
of the low.
As you said, if the lowest of the low is even 333MHz it is way better than
40MHz/040. I
have been able to save for piecemeal upgrades over this year, managing to
save a substantial
all in one sum just hasn't happened. Please go with this Eyetech, my
experience of Windows
drives me absolutely and utterly MAD!
